There’s nothing more beautiful that summer nights in Rome. The temperature gets cooler and all the lights are on. It’s the perfect time to walk around with your camera on hand.
Walking around Rome during the night is very safe, so don’t be afraid. You probably have already visited all the landmarks with daylight, so you just have to go back to the same places.
“Again, Ingrid? I don’t want to walk around the same places again” Yes, you want! Romans have done a spectacular work lighting the monuments, so don’t skip them at night while having another gelato, you deserve it. I’m here for a long time and I’m never done with going to the same places, there’s always something new to find out.
Also, it’s super romantic! If you can be holding hands while you walk around, do it! There are fewer people on the monuments at night, so that’s another perk.
